Our services and what we do

CBA Web Development has been around since 1995 and has changed with the times as the years have passed. Well, in this business YOU BETTER change or we would all still be using Windows 3.11 and Windows 95; ew!

We do all sorts of things now. The two main facets of our business is Web Development and Custom Applications. On the easy side we will offer complete joomla training to our clients. On the more complex side, we can build custom applications using a combination of Dreamweaver, FLASH, and PHP. Ironically, we do not get much call for Visuall C++, Visual Basic, or ASP. Most likely because we do not market strongly in those areas, but if need be, we can do those too.

Training at CBA Web Development: What kind of training do we offer?

• General Web Administration.  Let's say you have some one who "kinda-sorta" knows computers and they are now your on-site local web tech by proxy. You need them trained fast in one or two sessions to complete specific tasks.This is perfect if someone needs to be trained remotely without leaving the office. (Note: Headset and/or speakers required)
• Dreamweaver Training:  Now, Dreamweaver is a highly complex program. But if you need some basics done right away, we will help you. This is an industry standard tool used world-wide for web development. There are many levels to it,, but the basics can be accomplished rather quickly.
• FLASH Training: Yes we do. We will train you to use FLASH. Many folks DO NOT use it because, well, it's hard! Even the most simplest of tasks are hard to grasp at times.  FLASH is one of those programs where you never really stop learning, you just get awesomely good! (Awesomely? Is that even a word?)
  • One difficult part of using FLASH is not only USING the program, but understanding the user interface and applying meaning to them. There is almost a tertiary layer of understanding
  • The Windows, toolbars, ActionScript window, the Stage, Components, etc. are all things with which you need to know. NOW, you need to know how to use them, but before you do that, you have already understand what you are going to do. It gets wierd.It is unlike anything you have ever known!
  • However, if I have not scared you off by now and you want to know more. Then you are in for a GREAT world in FLASH. Look at this way, if you can think it, you can almost do it all in FLASH. Only those that have endured its learning process truly understand its beauty. I will say this as clearly as possible.Those that say bad things about it or bash it, do not truly understand it. It is beautiful and I will continue to use it as long as I draw breath on this planet.
• 4) General Microsoft applications assistance.   I do not want to say training because I don't want to get in trouble with them. I will just say this. We have developed some pretty nice basic Word Level 1 and 2, and Excel Level 1 and 2 packets that could augment or add to your current understanding.  We use them when we train at our local community college here.  We have them for sale and they are pretty nice and are written in a form easy to understand. They are currently updated for Office 2007/2010.
